Information Regarding Student Computer Logins and Gmail Accounts

STUDENT LOGIN: Your login for computers throughout the school (laptops, netbooks, computer labs, and library) follow this format:

2-DIGIT YEAR OF GRADUATION . . . FIRST INITIAL  . . . LAST NAME

For example:

·         A senior named Jim Smith will have the login 15jsmith

After you enter your login, you will be prompted to enter your password.  Upon your first login, the password required is “PEABODY.”  Once you have entered it, you will be asked to create a new password in order to secure your account.  Please write this new password down so you can have easy access to it in case you forget – the process to retrieve your password is complicated and time consuming.

STUDENT EMAIL: Please follow these instructions to access your new Peabody Public Schools email account.

These accounts are in the Gmail domain so they will be compatible with the entire Google platform.

Access your new Peabody Public Schools email by typing www.gmail.com into your web browser (Firefox, Safari, etc.).  Click on “Sign In” in the upper right corner of the screen.
